(Things are different there these days ... only 5% of new cars are ordered by real customers ... the other 95% are dealer pre-speciffied). Anyhow as the UK still orders and waits I thought you would appreciate this from January 1998:
btw as a footnote I know most of the guys mentioned in the post from my time in the US, some still drive a Boxster, indeed one still has the one from 1998, some have crossed to the dark side of rear engine machines.
