9mRS

Yes.

Have to say with the way 993RS prices have been going maybe that is now a better platform to make this financially viable.

For what it costs for a 64 you are in original territory.

yes i think id rather have a 'new' build rather than an old racer, ive seen some of the original cup vids and they show quite a few bad smashes and years of pounding over the rumble strips, id have one in blood orange please....

Plenty of pounding the rumble strips Keith....!.[:D] My 92 Clubsport drove as if it was just out of the box last Monday..........

Keith, nature of the beast is a very strong robust chassis drivetrain, engine. My car is an ex-Race Car, thus been very well looked after and maintained. Although I don't have the full history, from several inspections it would appear to have been fairly recently mechanically gone through with a toothcomb. The engine is fairly tight with no smoke from cold and completely dry as an RS should be. Have you sold your C2 Sprint Car?

must dig out that cd with the cup cars again, remember calderaris car mounting another and clips of them flying 2 feet high at the ring so guess the ninemeister recreation will appeal to buyers wanting a new car, but agree it would be nice to own an original racecar and a piece of history, been out in paul clares cuppie a couple of times and it is so raw compared to mine. still have my cars , thought of selling both and buying one, but having second thoughts about sprinting a £40,000 car with no insurance cover so will probably keep it another year or two and maybe swop the 930 for a turbo 2 , will see what happens...

Oy!! Be careful with my car out there!! Believe the FUJITSU car is now PhilRS's.....

Yep, the bumping and boring in these races is quite extraordinary......[:(]

Same sponsor, same driver, same racing team, same year, but different cars (cup vs. RSR, compare my avatar with picture)... Harald Grohs did both the Porsche Cup and the ADAC GT championship in '93 with Wehmeier & Castrup...

Melv, is your car the former Maylander '93 cup car?

For that money Keith you could have one of Colins demon engines! Just need something to put it in then!
