997 "S" Alloys Good Bad or Ugly?

What do you guys think of the new style alloy on the "S" Do you like it or wot [&o]

I'm not keen from a aesthetic perspective, bit I can see where they are coming from, from an engineering perspective, since the design will save weight without losing strength.

Since less is more and form is supposed to follow function, we should accept it, but I prefer a more simple design and it doesn't do it for me.

I prefer the similar ones in the "Where Sport Begins" Boxster brochure (only available in 18" I suspect)

I think they look nice personally, im hoping that everyone doesnt like them and then i will help you out and 'take' them off your hands for £250 []

Sure we'll get used to the look of them, but they'd run out when I specced my car 6 weeks ago. Went for the 19" Classic anyway, think they look really cool.

Yes they are the 18" Version, standard fit on the 987 "S", but very similar design and will be a similar pain to keep sparkling clean what with all those exposed holes etc to leather around

Hmmm.... Those are actually the ones I meant that I "liked" (in preference to the others anyway).

So no good as they will not fit the S anyway? (Can't remember - are the brakes bigger again[8D]?)

I have specified the sports classics, the standard wheels just looked too clunky to me in the photographs and seeing them live has not changed my mind.
