Since less is more and form is supposed to follow function, we should accept it, but I prefer a more simple design and it doesn't do it for me.

Yes they are the 18" Version, standard fit on the 987 "S", but very similar design and will be a similar pain to keep sparkling clean what with all those exposed holes etc to leather around

Hmmm.... Those are actually the ones I meant that I "liked" (in preference to the others anyway).
So no good as they will not fit the S anyway? (Can't remember - are the brakes bigger again[8D]?)
