Currently illuminating the tree line nicely or blinding other drivers! Lights themselves are fine. Would it be a sensor issue, seems most likely? Anyone else had the same issue?
Error message appeared on dash once but no more, the problem however persists.

Yes, it sounds as though that could be your problem Martin. There are individual level sensors on the front and rear axles, so probably best to run some Porsche-specific diagnostics to find out what’s happening otherwise it’s just guesswork as to whether it’s one or the other … or maybe something else! ??

I had the same problem years ago. Yes there is a levelling mechanism attached to the front axel that may have come loose. Google it and try and refit it yourself, it takes a few minutes to do. That cured my problem.

This. There’s a potentiometer on the front and back near-side. If you look at the leading inner edge of the arch you’ll see a small bar with a ball joint either end. As the suspension compresses / extends the bar moves the potentiomete. Worth checking both ????????
