Hi
Out for a spirited drive in my 2002 996 C4S with 60k miles when notice a sudden reduction in power and then Check Engine light comes on. Power delivery now feels stuttery (for want of a better word), almost like engine feels like it was close to stalling (but doesn't). Notice a slight rocking too at idle as if not on all cylinders. Made it home ok but have turned on a couple of times and problem persists. Starts off with a flashing Check Engine light when started cold but then seems to switch to a solid Check Engine light when warmed up (which hopefully means it's ok to drive to Specialist).

Any suggestions guys as to the potential problem?
Thanks in advance.

Agreed. The most efficient way to get to the bottom of the problem Conor will be to run some Porsche-specific diagnostics [PIWIS or equivalent], otherwise it’s just a guessing game: fuelling, ignition or electronics … who knows?????

A flashing CEL is not good, but if it’s solid you should be OK to drive gently to your specialist.
