It's not that I've not given up (yet!) on the English summer it's just that I'll need to drive over to Germany in late Nov/early Dec and I understand that winter tyres are mandatory at that time of year. So I'm planning well in advance!
Thanks in advance for any help.
Anton
I acquired winter wheels and tyres for my 993, intending to use it regularly through the winter, and they were very good, but a cabriolet without aircon or hardtop is not ideal in winter conditions, in my view. A friend who has a 964 cab and takes it to the Alps with skis on the roof every winter disagrees, but I am not as hardcore an open top driver as I thought, so I am considering selling the winter wheels/tyres. If interested, please send a PM or email.

and you also need an environmental sticker to enter some cities (including the two I'm visiting!)

Getting the sticker seems to be causing a problem at the moment as they only seem to be able to process the very latest V5's!
What seemed like a simple trip is getting more complex so I might give driving a miss.
Richard: If I do decide to go I'll certainly pm/email you about the winter wheels and tyres - what type and sizes are they?
