993 wing mirror

Can anyone help please,I recently knocked my wing mirror entering my garage and a small hole appeared on the outer skin of the mirror which let air between the two layers,I've tried heating the wing mirror with a fan heater to force the air out but without success,any suggestions?
 
Can you post a picture so it's easier to understand what you mean. I suspect solution is going to be to give it a good rub down, small bit of filler, and repaint it.
 
Do you mean the laminate that coats the body of the mirror housing - can start to peel when damaged? I had mine redone at a local body shop when they were doing a load of other stuff. Didn't add much to the price as I recall, and looks brand new now.
