993 fob batteries

My 1996 993 has the original PA100? immobiliser fitted which has been a bit problematic! Managed to obtain a couple of new fobs from Hamilton & Palmer and system has been a bit more reliable until this morning at a garage. Eventually worked and decided to fit a new battery but the GP Super 10A 9V batteries seem to be unavailible! Any suggestions please

It's an A10, not a 10A (although different battery manufacturers often use different codes)

Amazon seems to have them available https://www.amazon.co.uk/ANSMANN-Alkaline-Calculators-Controls-Emergency/dp/B00D4KU1OI

I find that I have to get closer and closer to the driver's side window as the battery runs down. Once I have to be touching the window it's time to replace the battery, but generally moving the fob around so it can "see" the PA1000 through the springs in the driver's seat usually finds a signal strong enough to make it work while I'm awaiting a new battery.
