992 Register Porsche Centre Teeside Breakfast Meeting

You should have received an email invitation to a breakfast meeting at Porsche Centre Teeside on Sunday 20th February.

There is a limitation of 25 attendees and it is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will operate under the appropriate Covid-19 rules and therefore needs the advance booking, but there is no charge.

If you have not received the email, please double check that you are registered in your Profile as a 992 owner, and if so email us on 992@porscheclubgb.com.

Really great event - really good to compare 991.2 and 992 under the ‘hood’ … thanks for inviting 991-ers along. I think it makes sense to combine for events like this

It was great to meet 992 and 991 register owners on Sunday and actually hand out some 992 register stickers (in person).

The day consisted of Breakfast, a 992 Quiz, a 991.2 and 992.1 (bottom and bumpers off) on the ramps and a Porsche Exclusiv activity. The Exclusiv activity was to guess the options on a very heavily specified C4S Targa - which was harder than you might think.

There were two detailers present (Devilish Detailing, Darlington and Lusso Detailing, Newcastle) so people could talk detailing, PPF, etc. Max the dog attended and made full use of the Porsche dog bowl - I didn’t know such a thing existed (the Porsche dog bowl, not the dog).

There were some special cars present; GT2RS, Turbo S exclusive and a heavily specified 992 Turbo S in crayon.

The day concluded with the prize giving (of which there were many) everyone seemed to have had an enjoyable morning.

Dave C (Register Director) and Amy attended with the gazebo and provided invaluable event support / experience so thanks to both of them.

James has updated the IG account (thanks James) with a couple of pictures, there will be a PP article and I will try and post some pics on the forum in the members area - no doubt with Tim’s assistance.

Thanks to those who attended and most of all to Ross Jameson (Porsche Teesside, Centre Principal) and all the Porsche Teesside Team who attended work on a Sunday to make the event the success it was.

More events coming and hopefully next time the weather may be kinder.
