987.2 grills

Got around fitting the RGS front and side grills on my wife's Boxster today. Really easy job to do especially for the front grills (15 minutes job if that).
The only tricky part with the side ones is to take the trims off without breaking anything, just need to be patient and fiddle a little bit but nothing major.
Really pleased with the way they look as fitting behind the slats and the fixings don't show at all. Will hopefully prevent anything nasty damaging the rads.

Neat job Franck. Did you get the grilles from the US or is there a UK agent?

It looks as though they’re retained using small cable ties … are they visible after fitment?

Got them in USA direct from RGS as was there a few weeks back so took the opportunity (saved quite a bit of money in the process....)

I believe you can get them from a few Porsche specialists over here.

Yes they are retained by cable ties but you can't see them as they go into the little slots at the back of the bottom slats so if you position the cable tie properly you can't see it at all. This is why I went for these as it just looks very neat

Hi Paul,

As example, full kits for 987.2 Boxster like mine retail around £190 in the UK (including 2 front rad and 2 side intake grills).
I should be able to do the same kit for £160 posted to a UK address if you are interested.
Can you to confirm what car exactly (model and year please) - can do via PM if you want.
(Also spread the word as these are available for Boxster, Cayman, Spyders 986S, 9987.1, 987.2, 981, 718 - and also 996,997, 991,992, Macan etc etc etc....)
