Picked this up at the weekend and, so far at least, it's been really good. A few bits to sort out and seems well cared for in its previous custody. It's booked in at Dove House for their inspection to get a handle on anything urgent but for now it's roof off, hat on and curse the missing cup holders!

Nice example, I had similar until 2017 when I moved back to UK from NZ. It had FPSH when I bought it and I ran it for 4 years and did my own maintenance. No problems. It had the original IMS/RMS and I monitored it using Raby's IMS Guardian. Used oil analysis showed Mobil 1 combined with Porsche specified 20k Kms/2 year oil change frequency was inadequate for engine lubrication and I swapped to Motul oil and 6 monthly change frequency. Great car and was sad to let it go. Good luck with yours, let us know how you get on. Here's a couple of pics of mine roof up/roof down!

Terrific car, really like them in darker colours. I probably won’t do more than a few thousand a year but it’ll certainly be annual oil changes.

Regarding IMS, it had that resolved in 2014 - I even have the old one as proof - so that’s one less thing to sort out. I did check the options list and it definitely suggests a more sedate first owner. Only the stereo upgrade, amp and auto wipers stand out and not even a sports exhaust. But it suits it. It’s not fast and I expect if it was too shouty it’d be trying too hard so I think it’ll stay as it is.

It seems simple enough to do oil, filters and plugs so I may get my hands dirty or maybe shadow the local mechanic the first time just to be sure.
