968 Sport Comfort Seat Replacement - Wiring Challenge

Okay - so I now know for sure that I have a challenge.

Removed the cloth sport seat today from my 968 and plan to fit some sport seats from a late 944 Turbo. I found this;

And the connector for the sports seat looks like this;

I am sure someone, somewhere has successfully overcome this challenge and perhaps even reported it?!

Can anyone help?
 
If your fittng the seats from a 944 turbo. Im guessing theyl be electric.?

If this is the case then youl find the connector on them will be correct to fit the 8 pin connector in the 968.
From memory the 2 pin plug on the "sports" seats is for the seat belt warning system as the seats have no electrical mechanism.

Great help - thanks - missed the other connector tucked up under a cover. I have a sticky motor it seems (or something) so need to do a little work but making progress. Thanks.
