968 Rear screen

Friend had his rear screen panned in on his 968 at the weekend.
Auto windsreens started off at £8200! to replace via his insurance, its now closer to £5k.
Porsche GB are quoting £3200 for the screen, before any of the trims etc.
He fears it will be an insurance write off at this rate.
Apart from trawling the breakers on-line, anyone got any suggestions?
 
Porscha-part / Porsche Re Cycled Have both broken 944 S2/968's recently and may well have the parts. Big Dave on here did have a spare, I am sure he may be along soon.

 
Call John Emery, Exeter, 07967 581828 he has a 968 rear screen and wants to sell it......

As Pete has kindly said. Yes i do have a rear scren , fully intack... For sale...In Blackpool.
