951 Brake Pad Dimensions

Im really struggling with online fitment catalogues, which all appear to be inaccurate (at best, and rubbish at worst). Im trying to identify the correct pads for a 1988 220bhp Turbo, which I presume has similar pads fromt and rear. Even Mintexs catalogue lists separate fitments for front and rear and theyre better than most.

Can anyone direct me towards anything which lists the pads dimensions, which they know to be accurate, please?

same pads front and rear, just like the s2. I don't have the number to hand but the ones I got from camskill were fine

Hate to admit it, but Ed is correct !

Try this for dimensions direct from MIntex:

The squarer looking pad (MDB1456) is the one that fits both front and rear for the 220 Turbo and the S2. The Calipers for these are all but identical except that the pistons are smaller in the rear to account for the lower braking effort required.

Mintex's catalogue lists the 1456 as a Teves system, not Brembo. Unfortunately many vendors don't list the part number, using only a free text description which is full of glaring errors (1987 250PS Turbo for eg) and the pad dimensions.

I have linked to Camskills page for 1144 material pads in another thread, but Im now wondering whether I need 1457s.

Simon - stop dithering and buy some[:D]
( but don't buy 1457 unless you are fitting m030 calipers. .)
otherwise I may have no option but to leave the forum if you keep ignoring my advice[;)]
