944s2 For Sale

My friend is selling her 944S2 cabriolet, 1992, 81,000mls. Full service history up until about 3 yrs ago, bodywork needs a bit of attention at the sills and the bottom of the door. The colour is Rubystone red which was one of porsches order only colours so very rare.

Hope it is ok to mention it here as she was asking if I knew of anyone that is perhaps looking for one

Shame .... I went and looked at it.With a few small body issues addressed it could have been a very good car.
 
So did Stan do the deal with her [:D][:D] It was a fair buy but the amount of work that MAY have had to be done was unknown and could have cost more than the true value and the colour has a very limited appeal .
Main thing is she is happy and has a new set of wheels at least when it re appears on the road we know who owned it and its history
 
That's a very fair point Brain.It did look as if it had had a bit of work done to it ,but it was obvious that it needed doing again if the the was to be saved and last more than a couple more years.
