944 turboclutch in sunny france

Hi guys

been looking around for a 3 piece clutch kit , sachs seems the best as it's oe

have you got any good source -they look f...expensive down here in france

I don't want to go the resurface route as it's got 300.000 and counting ...with my carefull ( not ) dad as the driver

I recently had a Sachs kit fitted and it works really well (touching wood) - got it from Design 911. Got a new slave cylinder at the same time (makes sense while you are in there), plus new crank sensors because the garage banjaxed the old ones while fitting the clutch. The Sachs one is all-metal, not the rubber-centred factory one. Although people seem to think that the rubber one has weaknesses, mine lasted over 150k miles before small chunks of rubber suddenly added a Russian Roulette element to gear-changing. All-metal seems better though.

went and ordered with rosepassion , as they were here in france.

now well see when it gets here

car on ramp looking very forlorn - actually started with the torque tube exploding on the rear end- alloy casing exploding with rust on steel tube.
anyone experienced that ??
