944 Turbo Police Car

As Andy and I were taking a leisurely (only just into 3 digits) stroll back along the A5 after last nights R10 monthly meeting we both witnessed the latest Thames Valley Police High Speed pursuit vehicle.

Clearly en-route to a violent bank robbery or giving chase to a stolen McClaren F1 this Police car sought to keep its profile low by not turning on its lights or its siren - instead preferring a 'stealth' approach.

As good law abiding citizens Andy and I pulled over to let the officer proceed hastily on its way.

I would like to extend a personal invitation to the PC driving the Porsche to join us at our next R10 meet where I know he would be welcome to give us a talk on Cycle safety or on the dangers of playing in the woods alone.
 
The PC in question is part of a special driving group who alternate between 2 wheels, 4 and as many as they can get under an articulated lorry.

There is one other in the group that I am aware of and his stealth car is a 964 RS.
 
We'd better get back on our bikes, at least we'd be safe from one of them [:)]

So the local rozzers are going up market? Was this a subtly painted 944 or was it the obvious motorway patrol colours?
 
Dear Law abiding public

Following a need to be some where very quickly , i would like to thank the sunday drivers for allowing me past.I thought my cover was blown.Whilst i thank them for this i feel next time i will need to display my blue and two's thus allowing me past those 911's sooner.
