Good luck with the sale - it looks like a nice example with some desirable mods. You may wish to update your car list ..... and remove "a keeper"! [:)]

Nice Car you will miss it, especially when you want another some day maybe [8|] funny, I have a Black/Linen '89 and a Red/black '89 both in the 700's chassis number. good luck with the sale George 944t PS don't let 'em test it in the rain[:)]

Hi George, Yes I probably will miss it - I have had four of these ( of various flavours) over the years but this modified turbo is the best drivers car out of the four but it's not getting used and it needs to go to a good home. No I won't let anyone test drive it in the rain - I have had various "sticky" moments myself in the rain (with the car)[:)] Richard

When you say "gasket" i'm not sure were talking about the same bits?, it's the seals internal to the master cylinder that I am looking for.

ORIGINAL: 944Turbo David Benjamin's old torque monster, not seen it for a few years but it was a good one!
Still the same - it has not been changed at all - the torque is still outstanding - not many cars for this sort of money will give you the same buzz - Put it into third at the back of a line of traffic and floor it and you are past a line of cars in no time at all - as many people have said in the past it's not BHP that makes a car exciting it's torque. [:)] I will miss it - but it needs a new home. Richard

There was not any interest at the original price of £6750 so it is now relisted at £5995 ono. The market seems very slow at the moment. http://pistonheads.com/sales/3740747.htm

A bargain at under 6k IMO - just got to wait for the right buyer. (Preferably one who's driven a standard 220 or 250 as this one will be much quicker on the road)

I've not had even a sniff at mine in 4 weeks of advertising. Had same last year when sold the S2 but then out the blue someone turned up and bought it Be patient, I'm sure you'll have success soon ;)

Thanks for the words of encouragement Andy - I know your right really but it just gets a bit frustrating - I dont want to go down the route of Ebay etc and all the potential tyre kickers. I hope you get a sale soon - If I was looking for a NA 944 I would have been round to look at yours by now as it looks like a good car. I just looked at your advert on Pistonheads and it has expired - you need to resubmit it or potential buyers wont see your advert.

That's bizarre, posted a reply to your last post and it's gone!! Let's try again!! lol Thanks for the heads-up on PH, was expecting to receive an email when it expired so I'll re-list it. It finished ebay yesterday too. Had it up for 28 days as a classified with no offers or questions! Cheers for the comments ref mine, if it had sold I'd be over for a look at yours ;) Can I suggest that you consider sticking a full 12 months MOT on her? With it expiring in June it may put some people off? Cheers Andy

Nice looking car - I would have expected it to be £6-£6.5k though so clearly the market is slightly slow....

I agree with Jim, it does seem cheap for what it appears to be (especially when you see what is been touted for £11k!).

There are some strange things happening in the market at the moment, I have been watching a couple of 968s before and since I got mine One is a Red Coupe with 60k miles that is for sale at a dealers in my village, it was at £14k for ages, then dropped to £12k.....it has now gone up to £16k!! What?why?que? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3535235.htm I'm thinking of dropping in there in mine to see if it really is worth almost twice as much! The other is a strange ad on ebay that started at around £5.5k, but keeps getting cancelled then re-listed for a bit more last time I saw it it was about £10k!...it had strange wheels on it and was touted as 'better than club sport as its suspension was softer...' curious
