Is it possible to purchase just the glass for the fg/driving lights on the front bumper on an S2 or Turbo 944
Thanks

It is, but they were £90 in 1995, so theyll be well over a hundred now. Try Buttercup -Porshapart. Bert Gear may have them too (Berlyn Services). Breakers will be reluctant to separate a lamp for obvious reasons.

Wow thats alot
Thanks for the info

Has anyone modified the light to have an air scoop one side and a single driving light on the other side, just thinking it may be a cheaper option
Sorry if I am going over old ground but new to the S2 bumper

Do you know where you can buy ducts that fit nicely Simon? Is it a case of making your own? I've removed both of mine as their completely ruined.

I talked to Kevin Eacock about it years ago and believe that he used vacuum formed generic parts from Demon Thieves. The lamps are equally generic (Bosch or Hella) but again, because theyre common parts I didnt really commit it to memory.

On a more helpful note: Neil will have this kit in his PU and Im sure that he will comment when he sees, as with Ed, who is using Revotec ducts.

Simon

I spoke to EMC - their ducts are £65 each plus the lights (if you want them) at £30 ish.

As Simon says, I'm using some revotec ducts @ ~£15 each (see my thread) You also want something on the hub to direct the air to the centre of the disc, although you could probably get away with attaching the hoses to the strut.

btw Gordon, I have one fog light lens that is intact - the plastic housing is missing a couple of lugs I think, but the lens is fine (it looks like it will separate from the housing) Give me a week or so to sort my parts for sale out & it might be the one you need

Ed

The lights btw are Ring single bulb driving lamps which you can buy in Halfords for about £30, I know as over the winter I had to buy a new set as one of mine was smashed in by track debris last year.

On a road car I would stick with standard light units.

BTW I have my old pair stashed away somewhere, keeping meaning to list them on ebay. One of them was brand new and t'other built from the good bits from the old 2 so both in tip top nick.

I plan to make another batch of splitters within a month. Have to make one for my son and another for my friend's brother. I just finished my new multi piece molds for 968 mirrors, plan is to make a set from carbon fibre, a Porsche 993 hobbyist promised to help with the mirrors, he have a nice vacuum system available.
Here's some mirrors i made some time ago
