944 s2 cab - Help Required

Hi
I'm hoping there is another 944 S2 Convertile owner out there who can help.
My electric roof currently runs direct from the battery and nit the switch.
This is due to the fact that the relays or micro switches are missing from behind the rear drivers side seats.
If anyone has a 944 S2 Convertible and knows the parts i'm after and could supply the details that would be great.
Or if any current owner would be able to take the time to look in the boot just behind the drivers side passenger seat and see what i'm after i would be very greatful.
I look forward to your replys
Thanks in advance for any help

I don't have a cab, though according to PET the parts you require are as follows:

Part No
944-615-122-0 - Slow action relay - qty 1
431-951-253-D - Relay folding top - qty 2

you may also need the following,

928-615-511-00 - Relay Holder - qty 3
944-615-119-00 - Window lowering relay - qty 2

Hope this helps

Stuart

Thanks for your help Stuart.
Looks like im going to have to try the 431-951-253-D option.
These appear to be Audi relays and the only place via ebay is from the states.
The other option I've found is to try Sunroof relays, but cant track down 2 at the moment.
Again if anyone can help please get in contact.

Just bought 2 431-951-253-D's from America
Hopefully get them sometime next week.
Fingers crossed that they will be the right relays to sort the roof out.
Any convertible owners with any further information please get in touch.

I have a cab and went to have a look for you in the boot but couldn't find them at all! Do you have to peel the boot carpet up to get to them? I couldn't see any easily removable panels or anything that seemed to be designed to be opened to get to relays

Have a look at Rick Cannell's Web Site - he has some workshop manuals that you can download. The electrics are all in there, as well as many other things.

Also, if you let me have your email address, I have a couple of PDF files that detail how to adjust and seal the cabriolet roof.

Hi Steve
Thanks for looking
They are locate behind the carpet on the off side rear, just below the rear seat release and near the suspension.
I could try and post a picture on here if it might help
Regards
Paul
