Steering Wheel Boss Kits are essential when fitting an aftermarket steering wheel to your car. Designed to maintain the original steering wheel position with a flat dished steering wheel, they can be used with wheel spacers and quick release boss systems for added flexibility.

Momo boss kits will fit Momo, Sparco, OMP, Isotta, Richbrook and Mountney M Range steering wheels with a 6 bolt, 70mm PCD bolt hole pattern , and supplied with a fitting kit. Horn push not included.

It wont fit a Nardi wheel unless it has two sets of mounting holes. Some cheaper bosses have both Momo/Sparco/OMP and Nardi PCD mountings.

If its a genuine Momo boss then itll only have the one set of six holes and itll be model specific. Momo bosses include a horn ring which will suit either series one or series two cars. Cheaper bosses tend to use the Porsche horn ring, so they will suit either model so long as the original ring from the steering wheel is fitted.

Reading my post above, its rather ambiguous, so I will try again: a Momo or other boss which includes an integrated horn contact ring and indicator canceller, will suit either a series one 944 (1982-1985 model years), or a series two 944 (1986-1991/1995)., but it will not suit both.

A boss which uses the original steering wheels horn contact ring will suit either model, providing that the correct horn ring is used.
