I am just wondering what s2 owners get on a long run on average out of their cars?

As I am just trying to figure out how much I need to take with me in cash.

TIA

James :)

25-30mpg I would say, where are you going? A trip round Europe last year for me was £650+ for about 2800 miles.

I always find the first tank of fuel in a new car goes very quickly..[:D]

Sounds like a sensible choice though - much better than those dodgy turbo things [;)]

thats what I thought too ed, Simons only seems to have been on the road the once he bought it home lol [;)]

I found a big difference when I changed to the S2, although I seem to be in a minority. My lux hovered around 30 mpg no matter what sort of driving it had. The S2 varies a lot, from early-30s on a gentle motorway run, down to nearer 20 if you're being very "exuberant".

That insurance quote doesn't sound too bad for a group 20 car, and it looks like a cracker. All you need to do now is get joined up and bring it to the display at the National event! [:)]

Its dear in my opinion. I pay less than half of that for a Turbo and DE4 is a far cheaper area than any Sheffield post code.

£98 fully comp, agreed value £5000, 5k pa miles, parked on my drive, salvage. bobs your uncle!

bloody hell, 1 pint and im wrecked lol, (cheap date) I used to go OTT a number of years ago and learned a few hard lessons, so now im a shandy.

its through a broker that I have used for the last ten years, Keith Michaels, ask for Gary Moulson 02082880275 (thats his direct number, so usually just answers "hello").
