hi everyone what size of alloys can i fit to my s2?? would these fit. The front wheels are stamped 8Jx18ET50 and the rears are stamped 11Jx18ET45. cheers carl [:D].... is anybody selling any...cup 2 or cup 3???

Ive seen a car with 993 RS split rims fitted, seemed to go on ok and I think thats about the same size.

... they'll look shit ( IMHO [;)] ) but they should fit

The rears will be a problem, especially as an S2 does not have rolled lips on the rear wheel arch.

Using the calculator here: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp it seems that the 11ET45 wheels will have 31mm less clearance on the inside and 45mm less clearance on the outside compared with a standard ET52 S2 wheel.

Can you ft 45mm between your current tyre and the wheel arch?

I'd have thought a good bodyshop would be able to roll the arches. Frosts also sell a tool for this and people on Rennlist have used a baseball bat or similar, just be sure to heat the paint thoroughly otherwise it'll crack (my red car has this problem) and remember this is pretty thick steel, so it will require some work.

I have seen this tool before and it looks (let's not go there) simple enough to use with the inner wheel arch edge being only, roughly, about 10mm thick but I'm incline to take it to a good body shop. Thanks for the advise and the link.

Porsche Cars GB have a tool that they will lend to your local OPC - I had mine done that way. Don't waste your time getting the driver's side done (on a RHD car) as the passenger side rubs waaaaaay sooner.
