Ordered one of these today, will be interesting to see how it compares to the hasegawa model I have from a few years ago. They are out of stock but the importer has them in stock. Hope the model is more accurate than the description!

Yeah, it's not great in terms of 'correct' detail. I'm going to be spending a lot of time modifying mine.

Love the filthy-brown coolant tank, just like most 944s! A fantastically realistic touch. [&:]
Yes, sadly I looked it and thought it needs a new one!

So what should a model include? I guess the windows should be more steamed up from the damp interior, the red should not all be one shade, the scuttle should be full of leaves, and there should be an authentic drip or two of power-steering fluid in the picture.

That would be "accurately recreating the real life German sports car"! [&:]

Italeri have been making 944 kits for a number of years, several different box designs, they also do the kit in Turbo and Cab versions.

I had to buy a GT3 kit just for the wheels & a GT2 for the mirrors, also the interior trim is coloured silver as I had it originally!

Now the really sad part..............I have another kit to replicate how she is now...[:)][:)]

I used to build loads of kits when I was a kid. Haven't built anything for about 20 years. I first built this924 turbo kit back when I was about 12 in 1981. I bought another new old stock kit a year or so ago so still deciding whether to build it or not, and if I build it do I replicate my turbo.
