Just had a new member join who has bought a 84 Lux with 89K on the clock, seems to be in excellent condition, but it has an "interesting" paint job in that no two panels are the same colour and has stripes down the centre. I have a funny feeling this car got discussed on here at some point does anyone remember it.

The owner is extremely happy with his purchase, and since he only paid £2K he should be, and he loves the paint, but it would be interesting to find the original discussion if it actually happened.

I remember a discussion a few years ago about a photograph of a 'harlequin' 944 that was towing a trailer in Eastern Europe but I can't find that pic. I have found this one though. Looks like it is copying the VW Golf Harlequin that was an official VW special edition a few years ago

That would be the one although it may not be the same car, how many can there really be? The car I saw had a black bonnet with a different stripe and a black interior. It was bought in the Yorkshire area.

just been doing the nightly eBay search and spotted the Harlequin is for sale on ebay
