944 drift/track car

Here is a 944 I picked up not long ago, only used it the once, but I need the space back really.

So its a 1985 2.5 Lux, no MOT or Tax, I do have a log book for it. It has previously been used in the PCGB speed championship, however I think it has been stripped further than those rules allow now. I do still have many of the original parts though.

It comes with bucket seat, Hydro, Welder, chopped front hubs, extended bottom arms. Someone (not me) has lowered it (this is a huge job at the rear), fitted new uprated springs and dampers, new brake lines throughout and supposedly rolling roaded and re-mapped (also not confirmed, but it does pull well), also suspect it has an uprated turbo clutch. Its a non sunroof shell (pretty rare to find) and has a manual steering rack (also not very common).
It has also had the interior fully stripped out (I mean fully, no dash, heater not even switches for things like the wipers)

It will come with a set of 15" cookie cutters fitted (as pictured in the static shots).

I have loads of options available to change the spec to go back to std, or things like wheels seats etc that could go with for extra.

Bad bits, well it wont go through an MOT without a load of work, things like headlights, switches etc to make them work, would also need some welding, although a lot has been done the sills are not great however not beyond saving.

Car is near Wakefield in Yorkshire, £700

Club and 944 Register stickers are in the wrong place. That's a few concourse points off before you even start on the car, lol! [:D][:D]

What's the large black lever in front of the gear lever? Looks like some kind of brake control, judging by the hydraulics.

Also, what's the point of this thread? Are you trying to sell it?

It's no good just looking at the pics..[:D][:D]

This would work great as a track car as is, but if wanted, return gearbox and front suspension to standard. I have all the parts here to do that.

Yes the lever is the hydraulic handbrake
