944 Cab Prototype...?

I just seen this on the German eBay...! I dont know a whole lot about Cabs but

It appears to be 1985 and is very like the spy shot of a 944 cab from that year.....! Or has it simply been chopped off from a coupe....[:'(] It still has the distinct lines of the coupe especially around the fuel filler flap and the rake of the windscreen seems to be the same as the coupe[&:]
