944 brake pads question?

Just buying a set of Pagid pads, front and rear for my 944 S2 (standard large size callipers on front).

Their computer is showing only one size of pad, that fits both front and rear on the S2.

That seems wrong to me, anyone know if pads front and rear are the same?

(This is from Euro-car-parts so I dont trust their computer info)

No, don't panic ! I can confirm that on an s2 (and early turbos) the pad shape and size is the same front and rear. The caliper is essentially the same albeit with different size pistons top an bottom and front to rear. It only when u go to the turbo 250 or 968 calipers that the pad shape Nd size changes at the front.

better late than never - Pelican Parts web site shows same OEM part number for front and rear - so pads are the same front and rear.

I trust Pelican for parts references because they always show the OEM number if applicable so you can cross-reference to your PET and WSM.
