Well after nearly 6 years of ownership I have decided to put it up for sale.

See for sale section for details.

I bought a Boxster 'S' last year, but have been putting off selling the 944, but can't justify both any longer.

I see a far more simple solution here....sell the Boxster, lol! [8|]

Joking aside, this car is one of the best so worth the trip to see it. Alan, many of us toy with the idea of a cheap Boxster over a good 944 now, as prices are comparable. How have you found them both, and what made you choose to sell one over the other?

Isn't it annoying how the best ones are for sale when you aren't looking to buy !!
Could develop into an interesting 944 vs Boxster thread though.

Thanks Paul, the 944 has been a great car, fun and fairly quick. It gets a lot of attention and people think they are more expensive than they are. The Boxster 'S' is fun and faster, a well built car but not admired in the same way. I'm not really fussed for the soft top either and may sell it next year and move into 911 territory.

She is now sold as of yesterday. Sold to a chap called Adam from Manchester who says he will join the forum.

She will be missed.

Alan.
