What is your take on values on current prices for the normally aspirated 924 2.0 model (1975-1985)
This includes both cars for sale, and the value you percieve your 924 is worth.
As a guide I am thinking of prices over the last year up to the present.

If you want you can also offer a written opinion also.

Thanks [:)]

Bit of a misleading sample IMHO, most changes have been in top quality cars which are being snapped up by collectors and speculators, the Turbo for example has rocketed in any condition, average condition n/a's have risen moderately depending on demand. The current 40th anniversary year has fuelled both interest and speculation in 924's, which is useful.

I think it would be hard for anyone to deny that 924 prices have increased and as per any model its the top endlimited edition models that lead the way. But there was recently an article pubished saying that it's 924 owners who are supressing the values by selling them cheaply and with an ever dwindling number of cars available I can see the point that was made.

My plan is to enjoy the car, its ownership and should I make some money when the time comes to sell it would be great.

Sheds still command shed money

A good car has gone up in value moderately

The best of the best cars are commanding premium money, but nowhere near the % that the best 911's are experiencing

Turbos are reasonably stronger than NA's on the above table, but even sheds are fetching double the money than a year or two. CGT's have peaked currently now the ones whom really want one have bought.

Inevitably with the silly prices at the top end of the Porsche market continuing, the rest of the models will be attached by a thin rubber band. The top end will accelerate ahead and pull up the bottom slowly, but will never catch up with the most desired models within the marque percentage

Mine is for sale at £125,000. Never will I be accused of underselling my car [:)]
