For those of you who have never been to Porsche Centre Reading I tried to upload a little map but the file was too large so I mailed it to Paul instead. Anyway It's my local. Well it would be wouldn't it?

Hi,
I am a new poster as I have only just managed ( with the help of the Porsche Post) to beat this bugbear called Norton internet security. I would love to have my name included on the list to visit the Porsche centre Reading to celebrate the 924's 30th birthday.I meet all the listed criteria. I would have my wife and daughter with me.
Regards,
Paul Webster.

Count me in Paul; as usual I'll be attending alone [:(] [:D]

BTW, keeping this thread anchored to the top of the Forum makes it a bit tough to spot for those of us who tend to ignore threads with 'Top' tags (I can't be the only one!)

Paul, what's planned for the day. I expect both kids will come, but not sure about the wife if it's "just looking at a load of cars" [:D] [:D]

Phil

Paul, do you know if Porsche are organising an Anniversary T Shirt for the 924 along the lines of the 911 one, or is the Register going to have to sort one out?

Hi Phil, thanks for the update

Vince, no plans for a t-shirt, but the Register will be producing something for the day so it could be in the running.
A car sticker is another thing that could be made up.

Expect to see the Nutter in a 65,000 mile 924 turbo, guards red X reg; finally getting the faded bonnet resprayed sometime in the next five weeks while I am off work for a surgical procedure. All I need to do is not bend it before November. Veronica Robinson's 924 will astound you. It was subject to a windows out respray in Guards Red about a year ago, and looks brand new. This was already a concours winning car before the paint job. Prepare to be amazed.

How do I put my 924 on the Register?

Bit early for me to make plans for Nov but sounds like something I would be interested in.

Hello Kevin - Sorry for the delay in responding

Please e-mail me on 924@porscheclubgb.com and I will e-mail you a Register form straight back to fill in - once I have this back you are eligible to attend! [:)]

Famous last words.

Count me in with 2 cars. Could you send me a Register form for the latest acquisition.
Do you want a 'Front Runners route for next year?
Regards,
Geoff

Paul, I will definitely be attending this but due to potential November weather will not be bringing the car on the boat from Guernsey.

I am flying to Southampton and getting a train up to Reading so a lift from the station to the OPC would be really welcome - can anyone help me out?

Ceri Turton

I'm sure that can be arranged Ceri
Not familiar with the area myself but someone could be there I'm sure [:)]

This doesn't look like too much trouble for me. Need a time. Save me a parking space and a sandwhich.

How are we recording this event photographically? It just so happens......
