Dear all,
Rick and I have organised a rolling road day for the PGCB 912 register. The event will take place at Paramount Performance in Slough on Saturday 17th April 2010.
The event will be free of charge, but we will ask for a small donation to charity nearer the time. We can accommodate 20 cars (PCGB 912s) and are expecting a couple of 912s from the Porsche Club France. Paramount Performance have donated a prize for the 912 with the highest bhp.
In addition to being reported in Porsche Post, we have 2 journalists attending on the day from well known classic car magazines (details to follow).
Each car will get a couple of runs on the rolling road and will have a graph supplied for you to keep. The rolling road is designed to show how our cars are performing. The graph will display power and torque characteristics across the rev range. Besides being interesting to view and compare, the results can be used for tuning and maintaining our cars.
After the rolling road event, there will be a photo-shoot with a professional photographer. This will be followed by a scenic drive (approx 1 hour) to a pub/restaurant with good secure parking, where we hope you will join us for a few non-alcoholic beverages and something to eat as we recap on a great day.
Please can you email paul.sutters@ubs.com with details of your car year and registration in order to reserve your place.
Many thanks
