911SC fuel filler problem

I find it very time consuming filling my 911SC with petrol, as the nozzle keeps cutting out. Assume this because of the size of the filler neck on the car compared to the nozzle. At nearly 50 years old it pre-dates the smaller filler necks for unleaded petrol.
Has anyone else found this? And is there a solution in something that can reduce the filler neck diameter?
