911 & Porsche World

Yes an excellent day at Blyton Park, owner Ian (R4) provided 10 944s, of which he owned 9, for us to drive during the day. Porsche and 911 World played excellent hosts and a good if very long, cold and wet day was had by all. As I am normally a 911 instructor at Blyton Park, it was quite a pleasant experience to be able to be given the reigns to these lovely examples. I, along with Richard (RO R4) had the extra bonus of transiting the cars between Doncaster and Blyton. Big thanks to Ian G for asking us to be involved, the article makes very good reading of each of the 10 different models from 924 through to the 968.

Good to see the 44 on the front of 911 and Porsche World, especially as the model does tend to get a major back seat in the mag. This article changes all that though, a good positive write up on our cars. The closing words? " In 2012 (they made reference to the model reaching 30 earlier in the article) Porsche should have been shouting proud from the Stuttgart rooftops about this car: pity they didn't" Have to say I agree! Edd
