VIN on driver side front inner wing, i think stamped into bodywork near fuel tank if I recall correctly
Starter for 10-
There are a number of places the VIN can be found, some places to look are under the luggage lid, under the luggage area carpet, in the passenger B pillar under the door catch and in the front of the maintenance handbook. The B pillar slam panel, handbook and lid VINs are on paper. Often the B pillar label is discoloured, or missing, due to cleaning and weather damage. The others should be in good condition and clear to read.
The engine number is on the fan housing on the right hand side near the bottom. If anyone has beaten me to posting this reply I hope this helps.
Did the '84 Cab not workout?
Steve
I have some photos to share and would appreciate your views on if it looks original . Also the label under bonnet is not present but the label is on the drivers door shut as is the other label that is on the passenger door shut near the latch. Both are aged and faded and look original.
If you could advise your email I will send them to you my phone number is 07785287712
Thanks
David

Is there anything specific that arouses your suspicions?
