Hi All

merry Christmas to all.

i have a rather stupid question, but may save me a trip back to the dealer.

I picked up a new Boxster today from my OPC having ordered a while back. I have had a few 911’s over the years and Macan and fancied a change following a fabulous test drive if the 4.0 GTS on some backroads a while back.

anyway, picked the car up but don’t have any leather wallet, service book or handbook with the car and wanted to see if this was right, and that it was all online now. Or has the dealer just forgotten to put it in the car…..

my 911 has a full leather book but that is a year or two old, I know what Porsche are like for saving money

if you could let me know, many thanks

It's not unheard of that new vehicles aren't coming with the booklets and they do arrive at some stage further down the line however, it's part of the PDI process for the technicial to fill in the service booklet on PDI and if not available, the sales person should have told you.

I'd give them a call and ensure they've ordered one for you.

Yes got a booklet and holder two years ago, but it arrived a couple of months after the car.

Same issue with me. I had to ask for a service booklet and am still waiting for the black sticker for the inside, 6 months on.

Hi,

Thought this might helpe. Picked up brand new Boxster GTS approx 4 weeks ago from main dealer. I was told the manual is all "Online" now for videos etc which are comprehensive. However I was given the following: 718 - Good to know Drivers Manual, Guarantee and Maintenance Booklet, Technical Data Radio System.

So, these are being issued still - this is my first Porsche so not sure that I have all the booklets.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Simon, really helpful. Enjoy the car, brilliant handling car and stunning engine, really enjoying it on a b road and that’s coming from a gt3 for the last four years
