Good luck with your sale Paul stunning mate.
Iam sure this is the best place to advertise.
Why not put it on the Boxster Spyder thread. ( Are Spyders becoming extinct at Opc )
Daro aka Rob often puts latest Spyders up for grabs.
Good luck Paul.

Another 1 owner FPSH 981 Spyder I thought I was on my own 😂😂. Try JZM they sold a 981 Spyder in under 48 hours the other week so might have some good leads who missed out whilst pondering one of the best sounding Porsche IMO ever

Good luck 🤞

Many thanks all for your various suggestions. Appreciated
Currently posted here, CSC and Autotrader. Tomorrow I’ll contact JZM, OPC Portsmouth and Philip Rub. I’ll also look at Collecting Cars

Any help with this very reluctant sale will be gratefully received

Hi Paul.
If you contact JZM ask to speak to Russ really nice guy.
I sold a GT3 & a R to him very fair deal obviously they need a profit but also do sale or return.
Mention Cliff & Tracy.
Yours sounds immaculate well maintained example exactly the kind of stock they want.
Good luck.

If you need a quick sale John I think you need to be more competitively priced. A couple sold on collecting cars a few months ago for £65k and they had less than 10k miles on the clock. I use Motorway to give me a baseline when selling or even valuing cars along with AutoTrader and Collecting Cars. These give a broad idea of what cars are currently selling for. I know it’s not what any seller wants to hear but cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Sorry.

Dan.

Try Denton cars in Otley, they gave me far the best price when I sold my 981, they send drivers all over for the best examples
money was in my account before the driver came to pick up.

I have been advised that my current asking price is too ‘strong’, so am reducing the price to:

£67,000 ono
Why not wait 24 hours and checkout what the Iconic auction car achieves

Why not wait 24 hours and checkout what the Iconic auction car achieves

Sold £49.000 excl buyers premium 15% £55,125 to new owner and £44,590 to seller :eek::eek:

One of the most significant aspects of the Spyder is the engine, a 3.8-litre flat-six sourced from the 991 Carrera S, producing 375bhp and paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This combination delivers a visceral, connected driving experience, amplified by sportier suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and a chassis set up for maximum driver engagement. The Spyder also features lightweight folding carbon bucket seats, a manually operated roof, and minimal interior trim, creating a car purely focused on driving. The iconic rear ‘double-bubble’ panel and revised front styling give the Spyder a purposeful, unmistakable presence, echoing the classic speedster rear ends of earlier Porsches.

This particular example is one of just 227 UK-supplied, right-hand drive 981 Spyders and is finished in Carrara White with a black interior. Reluctantly for sale from the Bunbury Collection due to ill health, the mileage at the time of cataloguing was just 22,326 from new. The V5C shows just one former keeper, and it’s formed part of this private seller's Collection since 2019.

There are invoices in the history file from Porsche Centre Chester and marque specialist, Ninemeister, and it appears that the car hasn’t been serviced for a few years, however, only a minimal mileage has been covered since the last service due to ill health so the car will be due a service based on time expired since the last. The MOT is valid the 11th December 2026 and we welcome your inspection at the Race Retro auction.

I think the break in service history could be a factory in the selling price and I'd be interested to see which service is missing. Wouldn't take much to get it sorted though.
