Can any one tell me why the exhaust ports on my 74 2.7S engine are "D" shaped?
The engine was imported from the states and although originally MFI it came with Webers fitted.
I didn't open up the exhaust ports as I feared breaking through the alloy and ruining the heads.
Would there be much to be gained if I had opened up those ports?
Any input would be gratefully received
If members don't know the answer, can you suggest someone who does and can explain the need for these "D" shaped ports?
