16" Fuchs Alloys Wanted

Hi all,

Anyone got a pair of 7x16" Fuchs they don't need?

Don't mind having to refurbish if a little tired so long as they are straight & not too curbed.

May consider a set of 4 wheels with good tyres if the price is right.

Cheers Dan.[:D]

Hi Andrew,

I am still interested in getting a pair of 7 x 16" fuchs or a set, but she who must be obeyed has put her foot down to me spending any more money on the porsche at the moment[] (spent all the holiday money again!!!)

Once I have pacified the situation I will let you know and see if you still have the wheels.[:)]

Thanks for your reply to my post.
Cheers Dan.

One just gone on ebay Dan - how are you doing with those Kumhos?

John,

Im afraid my wife has said no to more spending on the porsche at the moment, so the search for wheels is currently on hold.[]

With regard to the kumho's - Im very impressed, it handles so much better than with the old tyres, and the sidewall & tyre tread are a smart pattern (if you like that sort of thing) I havent had a lot of experience with other makes of tyres, but I would recommend the kumhos to anyone; in fact my sister is thinking of putting a set on her MGF soon....

Cheers Dan.

Having mine fitted on Thursday (Graeme Murray, the Xpedia tyre fitter, has been off doing A6 testing at Millbrook for a week so couldn't do it any earlier)

Rolling road day on Saturday & then might do a midnight mission that night (driving round some great roads after dark - family away for the weekend), looking forward to seeing how they go once broken in

Will do this running report soon, have you started one yet?
