13th August - Lake District Sportcar meetup

Hi guys,

I've been a member of this BBS for a while now after toying with the idea of getting a 911GT3.
Anyway, over the past two years I have organised a sportscar meetup in which after a meetup we go for a blast round the lakes.
I noticed you guys already have an event planned in May.... the Lake District area has many great roads to drive along.

The event which I'm doing is open to many sportscar clubs and the general theme is Sports/GT/Supercar types. The invite has gone out to TVR, Lotus, Ferrari, Lambo and a number of Japanese car clubs.
So if you're fairly local to the Cumbria area feel free to come along.

All the details of the event are found on the link below:

This is the same weekend as Wyreside Hall Festival of Motorsport, near Lancaster, which has always been well supported by Lancs & Cumbria Region as well as NW Region

Yeah I noticed that also. So if any of you guys want to make a short trip up the M6 to Penrith on the Sunday you'll be able to see and take part with a number of other sportscars ;-)

This Lakes meetup is in no way intended to clash or compete with any other events. But the Lakes meetup option is there if you want to come along ... even if its just at the 11am meetup at the golf club.
