Hello Fellow Isle of Man Members.

PCGB Member
Since becoming a member of the Porsche Club this year I have enjoying meeting and making new friends here on island.
I’m eagerly looking forwards to this weekends event of a lap of the TT Course and a wonderful breakfast at the Victory Café.
We also have PCGB over this weekend lead by Derek Flint and I must say I am very pleased to be involved in their Event also.

Welcome! Although I'm not from the Isle, I'm a regular visitor.

My local spotter tells me that the Mountain road from Ramsey to The Bungalow is still closed for repairs following the landslip.

The Gov website is also showing that closure, promulgated until 18:00 next Monday (15th May).
Hopefully they'll complete the work ahead of schedule and everyone can get to enjoy the full Mountain Course.

The Victory Cafe is open & accessible.

Hi Mach,
Yes there’s been a couple of weeks overrun on the schedule of works to the mountain road, they have laid quite a bit of new tarmac too but they have hit trouble by the waterworks with the unstable rock face.
They should be finished next Monday but the PCGB Event is this weekend and it’s looking like 50% of the mountain road will be unavailable sadly.

Mountain road now showing as fully open, so have fun.
Hopefully some of the participants will give us a little write up of the trip.

They had a great time over here, I joined in with the fun. The mountain road was awesome Sunday morning.

Great weather, and good to hear that the plan came together so that everyone could enjoy the island to the full.

Just back myself after a great week. Here's a scenic pic from the Point of Ayre.

HI, I was on this year’s trip organised magnificently by Derek Flint and what fun we had even the weather behaved itself and although only half the mountain was open on Saturday however it didn’t ruin our fun taking the coast route from Ramsey where we were all based towards Douglas then onto the mountain course albeit in reverse to the Victory cafe then to Creg Ny Baa cafe and return until you’ve had enough all at 06.30 then return to our hotel and had a good breakfast! Sunday was even better as the mountain was fully open ??
I believe that about 50 cars attended including a Singer which was stunning!
This is the second time to the island once to see the TT on my bike and last years event, I enjoyed it so much iv booked for next year as well.
The nice thing about this tour it’s not over organised and plenty of time to do the touristy stuff which pleased my wife and it was good to see lots of partners coming along as well!
if you haven’t been to the island before it’s a real gem.
cheers
Barry
