Speed Yellow 993RS finding new home

Hi

After almost 18 years of fun it is time for someone else to enjoy owning and driving my speed yellow 993RS. Will be missed and and cannot be replaced. If anyone wants to give it a good home it will be on Collecting Cars for 7 days.

I would think very hard about selling especially after 18 years of ownership, sold my Riviera Blue RS around December 2020, looking back it was a mistake, once its gone its gone as they say, good luck with the sale if its going!

Hi. Thank you for the comment, big fan of riviera blue for the 993RS. Trying to reduce our cars with an eye on practicality and touring. Have nailed practicality with a circuit pack GR4 Yaris, inspiring in all conditions. Still struggling to find the right car for touring, obviously needs a sporting edge rather than too much comfort.

Will only let the 993RS go for a good price, which will help. If it sells we will both miss it, but priorities change. The way these cars drive is special (want to keep it every time I drive it), I don't expect to able to replace it in the future. Enjoy some modern cars (shame about all the driver aids and distractions), but air cooled Porsches, especially the RS and CS versions have involvement and look great, they are truly special! Talked to a 992 GT3RS owner recently, said the grip was so good it felt like he was cheating, personally I have no problem with increased grip! How RS Porsches have changed, but still great!
