Hitchfields of Huddersfield / Revolution Porsche Services - anyone used them? Are they good?

I'm considering buying a car from Hitchfields and, living near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, I have not come across them before.
Appear to be owned by Kristian Hitchen and been going for c. 5 years.

I have also found Revolution Porsche Specialists in Batley who look to be a suitable firm to do a PPI for me if I proceed - anyone know them?

TIA
David

I didn't get good vibes dealing with Hitchfields so I won't require a PDI, but appreciate you helping.

I have gone to a high profile Porsche specialist and collect my new car next Thursday.

Hi David, I can only comment on Revolution, took my 986 there once for a service, new filters etc, given a price for the work and as first time customer offered a 15% discount on the final bill, sounded great.

At time to pay they went back on the 15% and after much (heated) discussion they very reluctantly took off 10%!

Despite telling them it needed 2 new exhaust mounting rubbers they never changed them but remembered to charge me for them!

Not a great job and not been back since. I am guessing other members may have had a great experience with Revolution, but not me.

I would think that many members have their chosen Porsche place to go to.

For me I got highly recommended by many people to use PORSCHTEK in Leeds, two great guys Phil and Tony, very knowledgeable everything Porsche, first class work and not overpriced. Used them now 4 years, first on the 986 now for my Spyder. www.porschtek.co.uk
