Hello everyone
Having just bought my first Boxster and looking to improve the Wheel look
Can anyone suggest ( aside from Ebay) a good place to get a nice set of 19" wheels and tyres please?
The car has 18" and i feel a change would improve the aesthetics
Thanks ☺️

This might help:
My 987.2 came with these wheels
Made in Italy WSP
Fr are 8.5" wide x 19 (235 x 35 tyres)
And
Rr 10" wide (265 x 35 tyres)

You do need to look for pot holes, but after many Euro trips and West Midland roads and Scotland all is well.
35 section tyres have little give in them!
A bonus with them is they are easy to clean.

Good, hope it all works out.
I have never driven a Boxster on 18" rims, just this one which I've had for 8 years now and 50K miles.

The standard wheels and tyres will be a nicer ride due to the cussion effect of the tyre, but they do look under wheeled, but only by modern standards I think.

Maybe keep you current wheels for a while!
However, just drive the nuts off it and enjoy what is a great car.

You do not mention if your Boxster is 986, 987 etc. Whichever you have, if you have the owners handbook, you will find a table of tyre and wheel sizes in the Technical Data section, towards the end of the book. Below are the 987 sizes, including the important offsets, plus some pictures of the standard and optional wheels for a 987 Cayman taken from the 2010 sales book.

Your car looks great
I think you are correct re the ride experience between 18" and 19"
Essentially i can live with the firmness as the look is much improved with bigger wheels
in my opinion
I am grateful to you for the help
