Uprated clutch friction plate

Good day all, I would like to ask what friction pad you guys with modified cars run. I don't own a 930 but do run a 930 friction disk with a Sachs motorsport plate in my modified 944 turbo. Its been ok for a few years with perhaps a couple of slips when pushing hard with two up but otherwise worked fine. However after going to a meet last week with a friend ( not had this much weight before) it would slip when hitting boost in 3rd, so clearly I need a better disk that can cope with the power being put down. Since I use a 930 friction disk ( a well known mod for modified 944T's) I thought the best place to ask would be here, I'm sure some of you guys are using upgraded friction disks, if so please could you share your experience.

My first port of call would be making sure that your RMS is not leaking.

Helix Clutches will make you any clutch disc you want to order with 15 day lead time at no extra cost, speak to Paul Dolan at Co-Ordsport to order. If I have to change friction plates again I’ll be using a Mitsubishi Evo 7/8/9 disc - Uprated Cerametallic discs are under £200!
