Anyone Know About 8080 KO 968 tip Coupe

I'm advised that my old Guards Red 1994 968 tip coupe that was L456GKE is now registered as 8080 KO and SORN'd after MoT failures. Does anyone know anything about this car, I've been trying for a while to trace her, I sold her in about 2010 to a respected indie near Gatwick then a year later saw her at a second hand dealer in Buckingham but have lost track of her since. The MoT history is not encouraging, seems from the DVLA database that she changed hands in 2017 but has not done well since. We loved this car and would love to know where she is now.

Can't help directly Chris, but out of interest I occasionally look at "howmanyleft" and interestingly for 944s the number of SORN cars now comfortably exceeds those taxed and in use. You may have confirmed my suspicion that many of these are actually cars with expensive issues (just about anything!)...they surely won't be stored and increasing in value. Sad if your old 968 is sidelined in that way. My 944 is starting to get expensive for just about anything, but I love driving it and will carry on. Just about any repair now involves steel bolts snapping off in alloy castings with hours of labour to sort out!
