Another new R21 member

Hi everyone, another new member in the R21 area.

Having been a huge Porsche enthusiast for many years I am still on the look out for my own Porsche (probably as a second car or an older model, still undecided). I have been to many previous Porsche Club (and motorsport) events as a non member as I didn't own a Porsche car yet I held off membership but decided to join as an enthusiast to learn more about them in person and chat to more owners.

Would it be possible for me to go to events in my daily run around car (not a Porsche yet!) as I notice a lot of events come with a parking space for Porsche members only which has put me off going to them.

Happy New Year, great site and club and I enjoy receiving the Porsche Post.

Hi Craig, great photos!

You will be welcome at R21 meets in whatever car you wish to come along in. It will also give you the opportunity to chat to other members, which may help you decide which model to purchase.

Hello Craig, I second what Terry says. I joined the Club quite a while before buying my car and even when I went to my first event with the car felt a bit out of it but in no time was welcomed by everyone around.
There has always been a number of Club members without a Porsche they are the same people as those who have one-or more. Good luck finding one, keep saving.

Thank you Terry, much appreciated! I hope to come along to a few meets this spring/summer and the air show recently announced looks interesting.

Hello Robin, Thank you I hope to learn a little more about certain models and look forward to seeing other members cars. I am still saving and watching all the prices more than i should!
