Upgrading standard Audio system

Hi

Anyone have any experience of how to upgrade the standard audio system in a 2023 Taycan sport turismo GTS. Looking at a used car with 17k of optional extras but no BOSE.

I've not done it yet but can offer my subjective opinion - the standard audio system is terrible. I have a base Taycan 2023 that has all the options I want except stereo upgrade, I thought I could put up with it but it is truly awful. I'm looking in to what I can do as well.

I think it will mean adding a sub woofer, an amp and upgrading the speakers. A sub woofer will make a heap of difference . Please share any advice as the base system is truly awful and I need it uograded asap. I have asked Porsche for advice and awaiting a reply.

I haven't looked at the specs of the base system yet so it could be something as simple as replacing speakers with ones that have an improved range. Of course, swapping out amp, speakers and installing a sub would improve things but that's almost a full replacement.

So you bought the GTS and are asking Porsche about a retro-fit?

I would like Porsche to give some advice as there was a shortage of Bose chips when this vehicle was specced so Bose upgrade was not available . There must be many unhappy base audio system taycan owners who need help with an upgrade .

I got a reply from my dealer, basically is not something that can be changed as it's a factory fit item. Aftermarket system is not advised due to warranty for the electrics.
