Boxster 987 24V S

Time to sell my 'pride and joy', with an eye on the next one.

2005 Boxster S, in black, with distinctive charcoal grey alloys. Mileage - 54,939.

I've owned since December 2016. The car has been garaged throughout, and only covered 3000 miles over this time. This has tendered to been my 'weekend' drive, hence the low mileage covered through my ownership.

MOT runs until 21/12/2019. Full service history, with all paperwork maintained, together with the original manuals. I've used a local independent Porsche specialist for all works and MOT.

Works carried out during my ownership - A new clutch and flywheel were fitted in March 2017 (by dealer from where the car was purchased). The battery was replaced in December 2017 (Bosch). New gear box selector shift cables fitted in June 2018. The front bonnet struts were replaced in December 2018, together with the replacement of rear exhaust T pipe and tail pipe clamps.

Whilst 14-years old, the car has been lovingly maintained and is a great everyday drive.

The bodywork is in good order, with just some small stone chips/pitting, as to be expected from a car of this age. There are a few marks on the hood.

If I were to keep the car and wanted to make everything perfect, then the only requirement is to replace the nylon cables that sit within the electric hood mechanism. They are no longer tight and on some occasions the hood needs guiding into it's position when closing. It's been this way since I acquired the car and hasn't been a big issue, hence never had replaced (I had a quote in 2017, with the cable cost c.£75, plus labour for fitting). Plus, you sometimes need to wrestle out the CD when ejecting from the player!

Private number plate not included. Will revert to original plate upon sale (MX05 VN0).

Happy to answer any questions.
