Sold in Aug 94 to a chap in Kidderminster who entrusted it to HM Prison Blackenhurst for a complete Nut & Bolt rebuild and respray.
Sold again in July 98 and prepared by its new owner for Porsche Speed Championship which it won outright in 2000 season.
KERMIT was then sold in Dec 2001 to a Regularity Rally Driver who had it prepared at Formula Fuchs and Rennspeed in Newark.
It competed and often won in around 20 events such as Le Jog, Marathon, Malts, Scottish and Welsh and never failed to finish.
Sold finally to me in July 2007 and back to Rennspeed for strip and conversion to full Historic Rally Car spec and in its first gravel rally achieved 2nd in class behind Steve Perez in the Lancia Stratos. Regular appearances at Chatsworth Rally Show, Race Retro, Silverstone Classic, Donington Historic Festival and Oulton Park Car Fest on the Rally Stage with Rallying with GroupB.

Realistically this car needs both some structural and cosmetic rectification depending on your intended use.
A local Lincoln Historic Porsche Specialist quoted 200hrs Labour plus parts and recently a World renowned Porsche Rally Specialist quoted 200-300hrs depending on level of rectification and recommended upgrades required such as Wiring Loom, Electronic Ignition, Respray.
